Corset Classics II: a selection of patterns from Corsets by Caroline
Three more curated Corsets by Caroline designs
Outstanding value e-book of three corset patterns for the discerning corsetiere!! The pattern includes sizes 8 - 20 (UK), 6 - 16 (US) except Tessa which goes up to a size UK30 (US 26). Each pattern is for sale as a pattern in its own right but as a collection this e-book represents excellent value for money - the collection of three patterns costs less than two of the over-bust patterns bought separately. INCLUDES A 25 PAGE DOCUMENT OF CORSET CONSTRUCTION NOTES!
I have put together Corset Classics II - three more of my favourite patterns to follow on from my first Corsets Classics collection issued in 2015. They all have different silhouettes – try them all and see which one works best for you. Melissa and Tessa are classic hourglass shapes and Grace is a little more conical. The under-bust, Tessa, is highly panelled (20) ensuring a very comfortable fit as the reduction is applied over so many panels. It also means that they sew together very nicely – there are no dramatic curves on any of the panels. The two over-busts have very different bust-lines and there are options to vary the bust size on both of these designs. There is a 3'' waist reduction on the two over-busts, and a 5' waist reduction on the under-bust.
This pattern is drafted in AutoCAD and available as an instant download - you will need to print out on size letter (A) or A4 paper, making sure 'actual size' is ticked in your print dialogue box and you centre the print on the page.
It is recommended that you make a toile to the largest of your measurements to check the fit of the pattern – at this stage you can take in the smaller of your measurements, lengthen if need be, and transfer these amendments to your pattern to ensure a perfect fitting corset!
Please see my Patreon at https://www.patreon.com/corsetsbycaroline if you like experimenting with corset designs - All patrons also can buy previous designs for 50% of the Etsy listing (and no VAT/fees).
There are no restrictions on the use of these patterns - use to your heart's content. I simply ask that you don't pass on the file or use it to, say, profit from a line of ready-to-wear corsets.
