Baroque stays - early eighteenth c. (c1715) digital pattern

This is an 9-panel demi-bust corset pattern (with shoulder straps) based on an original 1715 design (conical rib shaping). It has a gentle curve to accentuate your waist - a 2'' reduction on standard sizes. Sizes (UK) 8 -22 (US 4 - 18).
Note – a 2’’ back gap is factored into this pattern. If you would prefer your corset to close at the back, add 1’’ (12.2mm) to the edge of each panel 5. INCLUDES A 25 PAGE DOCUMENT OF CORSET CONSTRUCTION NOTES!

The corset length measures 34.5cm at the centre front and 38cm at the back.

This pattern is drafted in AutoCAD and available as an instant download - you will need to print out on size letter (A) or A4 paper, making sure 'actual size' and 'centre the print' is ticked in your print dialogue box.

Hip size not stated as the tabs are designed to splay over the hips to size.

It is recommended that you make a toile to the largest of your measurements to check the fit of the pattern – at this stage you can take in the smaller of your measurements, lengthen if need be, and transfer these amendments to your pattern to ensure a perfect fitting corset.
