FRONT COVER

This is a modern 14-panel over-bust pattern with a sweetheart neckline and a beautiful hour-glass curve to accentuate your waist. Sizes (UK) 8 -20 (US 4 - 16). There is an an option to add alternative panels 1-3 for bust sizes UK A - F (PLUS ALTERNATIVE HIP SECTIONS (+2'' AND +4''ON STANDARD SIZES)

INCLUDES A 25 PAGE DOCUMENT OF CORSET CONSTRUCTION NOTES!

Note – a 2’’ back gap is factored into this pattern. If you would prefer your corset to close at the back, add 1’’ (25.4mm) to the edge of each panel 7 (the actual measurements will therefore be 2'' smaller than those detailed in the picture above).

The corset length measures 39cm at the centre front and 41cm at the back. There is a reduction of 3'' at the waist applied to the standard sizes. Instructions are given to decrease or increase the vertical measurement from waist to under-bust to ensure the bust sits at the correct position.

This pattern is drafted in AutoCAD and available as an instant download - you will need to print out on size letter (A) or A4 paper, making sure 'actual size' and 'centre the print' is ticked in your print dialogue box. I have also included a large format print version (A0/ANSI E) for printing at a print shop but this does not include the bust sizes E & F.

It is recommended that you make a toile to the largest of your measurements to check the fit of the pattern – at this stage you can take in the smaller of your measurements, lengthen or shorten if need be, and transfer these amendments to your pattern to ensure a perfect fitting corset!
