  1. I was hoping to get this one out for my May Patreon pattern but I have had so much College work to do over Easter that it's proving difficult getting all my designing done! I need to tweak the design a little - make it more cinched at the waist and also do some experimenting with the grainlines of the panels as I'm getting some bias wrinkling at the back (it looks good from the front though - super smooth!). The grading could prove so difficult I end up shelving the idea of creating a commercial pattern from it, but I'll give it a go!

  2. I have decided at the last minue to try and get an entry in - the deadline is Monday so I don't have long! My fashion course theme is London Mechanic and whilst scouting London for inspiration I realised I could kill two birds as I could merge the two ideas - Architecture being the FR theme. I visited he Thames flood barrier on a lovely sunny winter's day and managed to get some good pics;

    As soon as I saw these I knew I wanted to quilt a corset so ordered the batting from the visitors centre cafe - no time to lose!

  3. I have written a thing! Everything I know about corset construction plus 10 gorgeous patterns in a corset makers' compendium. The main document alone is 14000 words. I have put it on pre sale until the end of the month for £36 and then will list it on Etsy for more. There will also be fees and VAT to pay through Etsy so grab your copy whilst it is at the redcued rate - contact me via the web form for details!
